Ingredients

  • cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
  • ½ teaspoon dried minced onion
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Dash of smoked paprika
  • 4 fully cooked bratwurst links about 12 ounces
  • 1 can 14 ounces sauerkraut, rinsed and drained, warmed

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole grain mustard, dried minced onion, black pepper, and smoked paprika to make the mustard cream sauce.
  • Cut each bratwurst into thirds and thread them onto metal or soaked wooden skewers.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Grill the bratwurst skewers, covered, over medium heat until golden brown and heated through, about 7-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Serve the grilled bratwurst skewers with warmed sauerkraut and the prepared mustard cream sauce.
