Bavarian Bratwurst Skewers with Mustard Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
- ½ teaspoon dried minced onion
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Dash of smoked paprika
- 4 fully cooked bratwurst links about 12 ounces
- 1 can 14 ounces sauerkraut, rinsed and drained, warmed
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole grain mustard, dried minced onion, black pepper, and smoked paprika to make the mustard cream sauce.
- Cut each bratwurst into thirds and thread them onto metal or soaked wooden skewers.
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Grill the bratwurst skewers, covered, over medium heat until golden brown and heated through, about 7-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Serve the grilled bratwurst skewers with warmed sauerkraut and the prepared mustard cream sauce.
