Beef Stew & Biscuits
This tried & true one-pot meal isperfect for Sunday dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- ¼ c. onion chopped
- ¼ t. dried basil
- ⅛ t. pepper
- 3-1/2 c. frozen or canned mixed vegetables
- 2 8- oz. cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese cubed
- 12- oz. tube refrigerated biscuits
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown beef and onion; drain.
- Add seasonings, mixed vegetables and tomato sauce; mix well.
- Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Fold in cheese cubes; pour into an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
- Arrange biscuits on top.
- Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 25 minutes, or until biscuits are golden.
