Bell Swiss Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- ½ lb bulk Italian turkey sausage
- ½ onion chopped
- ½ red bell pepper chopped
- 6 C. water
- 1 bunch Swiss chard chopped
- 2 cubes chicken bouillon such as Knorr(R)
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsps grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Place a large pot on medium heat.
- Cook in it the sausages for 6 min.
- Remove the sausages from the pot and set them aside.
- Remove the grease.
- Stir the sausages back into the pot with bell pepper and onion.
- Cook them for 3 min.
- Stir in the water with Swiss chard, chicken bouillon, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning.
- Adjust the heat to medium.
- Cook them for 20 min.
- Garnish the soup with cheese then serve it warm.
