Blackberry Jelly

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts blackberries
  • 3 cups water
  • granulated sugar

Instructions

  • Place washed and drained blackberries and water in saucepan.
  • Bring to boil and cook until soft.
  • Pour cooked berries into cloth bag and allow to drain (do not squeeze bag so that juice remains clear).
  • Measure juice and return to saucepan.
  • Add sugar, equal to the amount of juice, and bring to boil.
  • Cook on high until jelly thickens.
  • Pour into jars.
