Ingredients
- 160 g finely ground old-fashioned rolled oats
- 120 g chickpea or other flour
- ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 470 ml soy creamer or nondairy milk
- 30 ml canola oil
- 45 ml pure maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 30 g nondairy carob chips
Instructions
- Whisk together ground oats, flour, salt, and baking powder in a large bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine soy creamer, canola oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the carob chips.
- Preheat and lightly grease your waffle iron.
