Cheeseburgers with Jalapeno Mayo
If you love simple cheeseburgers, then this is the perfect type of burger for you to prepare. Made with a spiced jalapeno mayonnaise, this is a burger that will satisfy all of your spicy cravings.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of mayonnaise
- 2 Tablespoons of pickled jalapeno peppers chopped
- ½ pound of ground beef round
- ½ pound of ground Italian turkey sausage
- 1 tablespoon of seasoned salt
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 8 ounces of Portobello mushrooms thinly sliced
- ½ a stick of butter soft
- Dash of salt and black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions
- In a bowl, add in 1 cup of mayonnaise and chopped jalapeno peppers.
- Stir well to mix.
- In a separate bowl, add in the ground round, Italian turkey sausage, dash of seasoned salt and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise.
- Stir well to mix and shape into 4 patties.
- In a skillet set over medium heat, add in the burgers.
- Cook for 6 to 7 minutes on both sides or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Remove from heat and transfer onto a plate.
- In the same skillet, add in the soft butter.
- Once melted, add in the sliced Portobello mushrooms.
- Cook for 10 minutes.
- Season with a dash of salt and black pepper.
- Remove from heat.
- Place the burger patties onto the hamburger buns.
- Spread the jalapeno mayo onto the top part of the bun.
- Top off with the sliced mushrooms.
