Cheesy Beef and Bean Tostadas

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ cup onion finely diced
  • 1-1/4 oz. package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 15- oz. can nacho cheese sauce
  • 15- oz. can refried beans
  • 6 corn tostada shells

Garnish:

  • Pico de gallo or salsa

Instructions

  • Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain.
  • Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
  • While the beef mixture is cooking, place nacho cheese sauce and refried beans in separate microwave-safe bowls.
  • Heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
  • Spread each tostada shell evenly with refried beans.
  • Top each tostada with about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture.
  • Drizzle the tostadas with cheese sauce and garnish with pico de gallo or salsa.
  • Serve the Cheesy Beef and Bean Tostadas.
