Cheesy Beef and Bean Tostadas
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- ½ cup onion finely diced
- 1-1/4 oz. package taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup water
- 15- oz. can nacho cheese sauce
- 15- oz. can refried beans
- 6 corn tostada shells
Garnish:
- Pico de gallo or salsa
Instructions
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat; drain.
- Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet; cook, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
- While the beef mixture is cooking, place nacho cheese sauce and refried beans in separate microwave-safe bowls.
- Heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through.
- Spread each tostada shell evenly with refried beans.
- Top each tostada with about 1/4 cup of the beef mixture.
- Drizzle the tostadas with cheese sauce and garnish with pico de gallo or salsa.
- Serve the Cheesy Beef and Bean Tostadas.
