  • ½ lb penne pasta
  • 2 oz grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 oz grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Cook Penne:

  • Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and return the cooked pasta to the pot.

Add Cheeses:

  • Add the grated mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, butter, olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste to the cooked penne pasta.

Toss Pasta:

  • Toss the pasta and cheese mixture over low heat until the mozzarella cheese starts to melt and coats the pasta evenly.

Garnish:

  • Sprinkle the chopped fresh basil leaves over the cheesy penne pasta before serving.
