Cheesy Prosciutto Panini
These nutritious ingredients add up to form a fantastic sandwich that you can serve on those lazy weekend mornings.
Ingredients
- 3 oz. thinly sliced brussels sprouts
- 2 thinly sliced prosciutto
- 2 slices of fresh bread
- 2 tbsp caramelized onions
- Olive oil
- Salt
- 1 ½ oz. thinly sliced fresh mozzarella
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the olive oil.
- Add in the sprouts as you stir them gently.
- Sprinkle the sprouts with salt, then cook it on high heat for a minute.
- Preheat your panini grill, then grease it.
- Take a slice of the bread.
- Add the onions, mozzarella, sprouts, prosciutto, then top with another piece.
- Slightly oil both sides of the slices.
- Transfer the sandwich into the panini grill, then cook for about six minutes until all the cheese melts.
- Serve the sandwich in a diagonal shape.
