Chicken Cacciatore
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts boneless and skinless, cubed
- ½ cup flour
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ green pepper sliced
- ½ red pepper sliced
- 4 ounces mushrooms sliced
- ½ onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 28 ounces crushed tomatoes
- ½ cup red wine
- Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 package fettuccine prepared
Instructions
- Wash chicken pieces, drain excess water from them.
- Dredge through the flour.
- In a large skillet, heat up the olive oil.
- Brown all sides of chicken.
- Transfer to a paper towel to remove excess oil from browned chicken.
