Cut pork with the grain into strips.
Transfer to a large resealable bag.
In a saucepan, add soy sauce, honey, ketchup, brown sugar, rice wine, hoisin sauce, red food coloring, and Chinese five-spice powder; stirring occasionally.
Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add marinade to pork, squeeze air from the bag, and seal.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.
Grease grate with oil.
Separate pork from marinade.
Place meat grill and roast for 20 minutes.
Place a container of water onto the grill and cook for an hour.
