Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies
Ingredients
- 2 cups Gold Medal all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- ⅔ cup butter or margarine softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 bag 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350°F.
- Spray bottom only of 13 x 9-inch pan with cooking spray, or grease with butter.
- In small bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
- In large bowl, beat brown sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs with electric mixer on medium-high speed until blended.
- On low speed, beat in flour mixture until soft dough forms.
- Spread in pan.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top.
- Cool completely, about 3 hours.
- Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows
