Cranberry Tangerine Spread

Ingredients

  • 1 12-ounce package cranberries
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup tangerine or orange juice
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 –2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions

  • In a kettle or saucepan, combine cranberries, water, and juice.
  • Boil until berries pop, then cool for 1 hour.
  • Blend berry mixture until smooth.
  • Back in the kettle or saucepan, combine sugar and cinnamon with berry mixture.
  • Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Simmer until thickened, stirring often.
  • Ladle into clean jars.
  • Process for 10 minutes in boiling-water bath.
