Creamy Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 large red bell pepper diced
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 1 10-ounce container of fresh Alfredo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups bowtie pasta uncooked
  • ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the diced ham, red bell pepper, and minced garlic.
  • Cook for about 3 minutes, stirring often, until the bell pepper becomes tender and the ham is slightly browned.
  • Reduce the heat to medium-low and stir in the fresh Alfredo sauce, chopped fresh sage, and freshly ground black pepper.
  • Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce is thoroughly heated.
  • While the sauce is cooking, cook the bowtie pasta according to the package directions.
  • Drain the cooked pasta.
  • Add the cooked and drained pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce mixture.
  • Toss well to coat the pasta with the creamy sauce.
  • Sprinkle the freshly grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the pasta and sauce.
  • Serve your Creamy Alfredo Pasta immediately, and enjoy the rich and comforting flavors.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

You can use any brand of fresh Alfredo sauce for this recipe.
