Creamy Chicken on Fluffy Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup celery chopped
- 1 tablespoon green pepper chopped
- 1 ½ teaspoons onion chopped
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups cooked chicken diced
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 8- ounce tube refrigerated biscuits baked and split
Instructions
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook chopped celery, green pepper, and onion until tender.
- Blend in flour and stir in chicken broth and milk.
- Cook and stir over medium heat until smooth.
- Add diced chicken and salt; heat through.
- Spoon the creamy chicken mixture over split, baked biscuits to serve.
