Creamy Chicken on Fluffy Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ cup celery chopped
  • 1 tablespoon green pepper chopped
  • 1 ½ teaspoons onion chopped
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 ½ cups cooked chicken diced
  • teaspoon salt
  • 8- ounce tube refrigerated biscuits baked and split

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Cook chopped celery, green pepper, and onion until tender.
  • Blend in flour and stir in chicken broth and milk.
  • Cook and stir over medium heat until smooth.
  • Add diced chicken and salt; heat through.
  • Spoon the creamy chicken mixture over split, baked biscuits to serve.
