Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 tablespoons shallots minced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons green chili peppers chopped
  • ½ pound ground chuck
  • 4 ounces bacon chopped
  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1 cup frozen peas thawed
  • 1 16-ounce package phyllo dough
  • 1 egg beaten with 2 tablespoons water (egg wash)

Instructions

  • Heat sesame oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Sauté shallots, garlic, and chili peppers for about 3 minutes until tender.
  • Add ground chuck and bacon to the saucepan.
  • Cook for 4 minutes, crumbling the meat with a fork.
  • Season with salt, black pepper, cumin powder, turmeric, and coriander.
  • Stir in the thawed peas.
  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 330°F and brush the basket with cooking oil.
  • Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture onto each phyllo sheet.
  • Fold the sheets into triangles, pressing the edges to seal.
  • Brush the tops with egg wash.
  • Bake in the Air Fryer for 7 to 8 minutes, working in batches as needed.
