Crunchy Parmesan Chicken Wraps

Not Only Is The Chicken Hot And Crunchy Inside These Wraps, But Grilling The Finished Wraps Also Creates A Fabulous Crunch On The Outside As Well. These Are Extra Ooey And Gooey Since They Use Fresh Mozzarella. (Yes, You Can Substitute Standard Mozzarella, But Give The Fresh Version A Try!)

Ingredients

  • 1 25-Ounce Bag Frozen Fully Cooked Crispy Chicken Strips
  • 2 Cubes Frozen Crushed Garlic
  • 4 Cubes Frozen Chopped Basil
  • 1 Tablespoon Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • ½ Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ½ Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • 4 12″ Flatbread Wraps
  • 1 Cup Prepared Marinara Sauce
  • 1 8-Ounce Ball Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, Sliced

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven To 400°F.
  • Grease A Baking Sheet With Nonstick Spray.
  • Place Chicken On Prepared Baking Sheet.
  • Bake Until Hot, About 15–17 Minutes.
  • Heat A Large Skillet Over High Heat.
  • In A Small Bowl, Mash Together Garlic, Basil, Oil, Parmesan, Salt, And Pepper.
  • Spread Mixture Onto Each Of The Wraps.
  • Top Each Wrap With About 2 Pieces Chicken, ¼ Cup Marinara, And One-Fourth Of The Mozzarella Slices.
  • To Close Each Wrap, Tuck In The Ends First, Then Roll Up Tightly.
  • Place Seam-Side Down On The Hot Skillet And Cook Until Golden Brown, About 3 Minutes.
  • Flip And Cook Another 3 Minutes.
  • Serve.
