Ingredients

Preparation Time: 30 minutes / Serves: 2 dozen

  • 24 dill pickle slices
  • 9 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 ¼ pounds thinly sliced deli ham
  • 2 packages Hawaiian sweet rolls

Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onions
  • ½ cup cubed butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • Cut each package of Hawaiian sweet rolls in half horizontally without separating individual rolls.
  • Place the bottom halves in a greased 13×9-inch baking pan.
  • Layer the bottom halves with pickles, Swiss cheese, and deli ham.
  • Place the top halves of the rolls over the fillings.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter.
  • Whisk in mustard and chopped onions.
  • Drizzle the mustard and onion mixture over each roll.
  • Cover the baking pan and bake for 10 minutes or until the tops turn golden brown.
  • Uncover and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes.
