Easy Turkey Meatballs
These low-fat meatballs are filled with enough protein to curb your
appetite for hours. These are best served with fettuccine noodles.
Add tomatoes and garlic for an Italian twist.
Ingredients
- 1 pound of ground turkey
- ¼ cup of chopped onion
- ½ of dried bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons of Parmesan plus additional Parmesan for serving
- ⅛ teaspoon of salt
- Pepper to taste
- ¼ basil thinly sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400ºF.
- Mix turkey, onion, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls. It should make about 36 meatballs.
- Bake the meatballs for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are no longer pink.
- Mix the meatballs with pasta, and cover the dish with basil and Parmesan cheese.
