Instructions

Prepare Smoothie:

  • Prepare your favorite smoothie recipe according to your preferences.
  • You can use a combination of fruits, yogurt or milk, sweeteners, and flavorings to create a delicious and refreshing blend.

Pour into Popsicle Tray:

  • Once the smoothie is ready, pour it into a popsicle tray or ice tray.
  • Fill each compartment to the top, leaving a little space for expansion during freezing.

Cover and Insert Sticks:

  • Cover the popsicle tray tightly with plastic wrap to prevent spills and freezer burn.
  • Insert a toothpick or popsicle stick into each compartment through the plastic wrap.
  • The plastic wrap will hold the sticks in place while freezing.

Freeze Until Firm:

  • Place the covered popsicle tray in the freezer and allow the popsicles to freeze until firm, typically for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
  • Ensure that the popsicles are completely frozen before removing them from the tray.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Once the popsicles are frozen solid, remove the tray from the freezer.
  • Gently remove the plastic wrap and carefully unmold the popsicles by running warm water over the bottom of the tray or dipping it in warm water for a few seconds.
  • This will help release the popsicles easily.

Serve and Enjoy:

  • Serve the homemade popsicles immediately and enjoy them as a refreshing treat on a hot day.
  • You can also store any leftover popsicles in a zip-top bag or airtight container in the freezer for later enjoyment.
