Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package Chili-o seasoning mix
- ½ cup water
- 1 can 14.5 oz whole tomatoes, cut up
- 1 can 16 oz kidney beans, drained
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper sauce
- 1 red pepper chopped (optional)
- 1 green onion chopped (optional)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
Instructions
- In a Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked.
- Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the Chili-o seasoning mix, water, cut-up tomatoes, drained kidney beans, and cayenne pepper sauce.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and cover.
- Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped red pepper, green onion, and shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
