Ingredients
- 3 kg leg of lamb
- 4 onions – peeled and sliced
- 10 garlic cloves – peeled and whole
- 4 carrots – peeled and quartered lengthways
- 10 oz white wine
- 10 oz stock
- 2 tbsp Armagnac Or 2 tbsp madeira wine
- Salt & pepper
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions
- Brown lamb in saucepan
- Drain fat
- Combine all ingredients in crock pot except thyme
- Cook on high for 2 hours then on low for 5-7 hours
