Homemade Beef / Lamb Stock

Ingredients

  • 7 -10 beef bones with marrow Or use any beef bones with a little meat left
  • 6 oz tomato paste
  • 2 onions – chopped w/ skin
  • 2 carrots – peeled & chopped
  • 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes
  • 9 black peppercorns
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Cold water

Instructions

  • Place bones on greased baking sheet
  • Brush liberally with tomato paste
  • Bake 350 F turning midway during baking
  • About 25 minutes each side
  • Combine all ingredients into crock pot and cover with water
  • Cook on low for 12-24 hours ,Or high for 6-7 hours
  • Strain and refrigerate
  • Keeps for about 4-5 days unless frozen
