Ingrediënten

Makes 2 cups

Prep: 10 min. Chill: 1 hr.

  • 1 16-ounce can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 3 garlic cloves chopped
  • cup tahini
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup olive oil extra-virgin

Instructies

  • Process first 5 ingredients in a food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
  • With processor running, pour olive oil through food chute in a slow, steady stream; process until smooth.
  • Chill 1 hour.

Notes / Tips / Wine Advice:

Serve hummus with carrot and celery sticks, asparagus spears, sugar snap peas, and red bell pepper strips.
