Hungarian Goulash in Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • Salt: 2 teaspoons
  • Cubed beef roast chuck: 2 pounds
  • Sweet paprika: 2 teaspoons
  • Diced onion: 1 large
  • Dry mustard: ½ teaspoon
  • Ketchup: ½ cup
  • Water: 1 ¼ cups divided
  • Worcestershire sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • All-purpose flour: ¼ cup
  • Brown sugar: 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  • Put meat in your slow cooker and cover it with onion.
  • Take one medium bowl and mix mustard, paprika, salt, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce and ketchup together in this bowl.
  • Add 1 cup water to the mustard mixture and pour this blend over onions and beef.
  • Cover slow cooker and cook for almost 9 – 10 hours to tender meat.
  • Mix approximately ¼ cup water with flour to make the paste and mix into goulash.
  • Now cook on high heat for nearly 10 – 15 minutes to make sauce thick.
