Juicy Strip Steak with Savory Sauce
Tender strip steak topped with a savory ginger-garlic sauce for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds strip steak sliced
- ¼ cup chickpea flour
- ⅓ cup Shoyu sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 tablespoons champagne vinegar
- 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
- ½ teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 395°F.
- Spritz the Air Fryer basket with cooking oil.
- Toss the strip steak with chickpea flour.
- Place the steak in the Air Fryer and cook for 12 minutes.
- Flip the pieces and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat a saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Add the Shoyu sauce, honey, mustard seeds, champagne vinegar, ginger-garlic paste, and coriander seeds.
- Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer until heated through.
- Make a slurry by whisking cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water.
- Whisk the slurry into the sauce and continue to simmer until thickened.
- Spoon the sauce over the cooked steak and serve warm.
