Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds strip steak sliced
  • ¼ cup chickpea flour
  • cup Shoyu sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons champagne vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer to 395°F.
  • Spritz the Air Fryer basket with cooking oil.
  • Toss the strip steak with chickpea flour.
  • Place the steak in the Air Fryer and cook for 12 minutes.
  • Flip the pieces and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, heat a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Add the Shoyu sauce, honey, mustard seeds, champagne vinegar, ginger-garlic paste, and coriander seeds.
  • Reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer until heated through.
  • Make a slurry by whisking cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water.
  • Whisk the slurry into the sauce and continue to simmer until thickened.
  • Spoon the sauce over the cooked steak and serve warm.
