Equipment

  • Pyrex dish (for oven)

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless
  • 1 jar 24 oz Ragu spaghetti sauce (tomatoes and herbs)
  • ½ green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • ¼ cup sliced ham chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Dales steak sauce
  • Salt pepper, and garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread a layer of Dales steak sauce on the bottom of a Pyrex dish.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the dish.
  • Optionally, you can brown the chicken before placing it in the dish.
  • Sprinkle the chicken with chopped onions, green peppers, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chopped ham.
  • Pour the Ragu spaghetti sauce over the chicken to cover it completely.
  • Cover the dish and bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.
  • After 50 minutes, remove the cover and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken.
  • Return the dish to the oven and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
