Ingredients
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground sage
- Milk or water as needed
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter with enough milk or water to achieve a thin cream-like consistency.
- Add the chopped onion, cooked brown rice, salt, and ground sage to the peanut butter mixture.
- Stir well to combine.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are slightly crispy.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve as a delicious side dish or as a filling for stuffed green peppers, as suggested.
