Pepperoni and Herb-infused Tortellini Skillet

- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 onion thinly sliced
- 1 red pepper thinly sliced
- 3 to 4 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 5- ounce package sliced pepperoni cut into strips
- 1 ½ teaspoons dried basil
- 1 ½ teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 8- ounce package refrigerated 3-cheese tortellini pasta cooked
- Garnish:
- Shaved Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté thinly sliced onion, red pepper, and finely chopped garlic until they are crisp-tender.
- Add the sliced pepperoni, dried basil, dried oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the cooked tortellini pasta and continue cooking until the mixture is heated through.
- Garnish with shaved Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
