- 1 large tomato coarsely chopped
- ½ large red onion coarsely chopped
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves coarsely chopped
- 1 jalapeño pepper finely chopped
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
