Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • ½ pound ground pork
  • ½ pound ground beef
  • 1 egg whisked
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon celery seeds

Yogurt Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Sea salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes crushed
  • ½ cup full-fat yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed

Instructions

  • Spritz the sides and bottom of the cooking basket with 2 teaspoons of olive oil.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, beef, egg, salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic, marjoram, mustard seeds, and celery seeds.
  • Shape the mixture into kebabs and place them in the greased cooking basket.
  • Cook at 365°F (185°C) for 11 to 12 minutes, turning once or twice until cooked through.
  • While the koftas cook, mix all sauce ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Serve the pork koftas with the yogurt sauce on the side.
