Ingredients

  • 4 large baking potatoes

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
  • Spray a large baking dish with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
  • Cut each potato lengthwise into 3/4-inch thick wedges.
  • In a sealable plastic bag, combine the olive oil, sesame seeds, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Add the potato wedges to the bag and seal it tightly.
  • Shake the bag vigorously until the potatoes are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
  • Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown, flipping them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
  • Once cooked, remove the potato wedges from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
