Ingredients
- 4 large baking potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
- Spray a large baking dish with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Wash the potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry.
- Cut each potato lengthwise into 3/4-inch thick wedges.
- In a sealable plastic bag, combine the olive oil, sesame seeds, ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the potato wedges to the bag and seal it tightly.
- Shake the bag vigorously until the potatoes are evenly coated with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and golden brown, flipping them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
- Once cooked, remove the potato wedges from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
