Ingredients
- 2¾ pounds puff pastry dough homemade or store-bought
- 1 recipe Veal Filling from Veal and Chorizo Turnovers [Tapas]
Instructions
- Prepare the Pastry: If necessary, prepare or thaw the puff pastry dough.
- Make the veal filling as directed in step 2 of the Veal and Chorizo Turnovers recipe.
- Preheat Oven and Shape Pastries: Place an oven rack in the upper-middle position and preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Roll out the puff pastry into 2 rectangles, each measuring 25 x 15 inches and about ⅛ inch thick.
- Cut each rectangle into 5 rectangles of 5 x 3 inches.
- Fill and Seal: Spoon 3 tablespoons of the prepared veal filling lengthwise along the center of each pastry rectangle.
- Fold up the sides and ends of the pastry rectangles, pressing gently to seal the edges.
- Place the pastries seam side down on a baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 minutes or until the pastries turn golden brown.
- Serve: Enjoy your Aguja de Ternera pastries hot or at room temperature.
