Sticky Honey-Orange Chicken Drumettes

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon tamari sauce
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 clove garlic peeled and minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
- ½ teaspoon sambal oelek
- 1 ½ pounds chicken drumettes bone-in
- Salt and ground white pepper to taste
- ¼ cup chicken broth
- ½ cup raw onion rings for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your Air Fryer to 380°F.
- Line the cooking basket with parchment paper and lightly grease it with 1 tablespoon of peanut oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining peanut oil, honey, tamari sauce, mustard, garlic, orange juice, and sambal oelek.
- Whisk well.
- Arrange the chicken drumettes in the prepared cooking basket.
- Season with salt and white pepper.
- Spread 1/2 of the honey mixture evenly over each drumette and pour in the chicken broth.
- Cook for 12 minutes.
- Turn the drumettes over, add the remaining honey mixture, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Garnish with onion rings and serve immediately.
