  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon tamari sauce
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 clove garlic peeled and minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon sambal oelek
  • 1 ½ pounds chicken drumettes bone-in
  • Salt and ground white pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup raw onion rings for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your Air Fryer to 380°F.
  • Line the cooking basket with parchment paper and lightly grease it with 1 tablespoon of peanut oil.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining peanut oil, honey, tamari sauce, mustard, garlic, orange juice, and sambal oelek.
  • Whisk well.
  • Arrange the chicken drumettes in the prepared cooking basket.
  • Season with salt and white pepper.
  • Spread 1/2 of the honey mixture evenly over each drumette and pour in the chicken broth.
  • Cook for 12 minutes.
  • Turn the drumettes over, add the remaining honey mixture, and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with onion rings and serve immediately.
