Sweet and Sour Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds chicken wings about 20 wings
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • cup water
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, and then place in slow cooker.
  • In a separate bowl combine brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, water, soy sauce, hot sauce and garlic.
  • Stir together well and then pour over chicken wings.
  • Stir chicken wings to completely coat in sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours.
