Swiss Cheese Sauce
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup 4 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; whisk in flour until smooth.
- Cook, whisking constantly, 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in milk; cook over medium heat, whisking constantly until thickened and bubbly.
- Add cheese, salt, and pepper, stirring until melted.
