Tangy Marinated Chicken Drumettes with Asparagus
Zesty marinated chicken drumettes paired with tender asparagus for a quick and satisfying meal!
Ingredients
- 6 chicken drumettes
- 1 ½ pounds asparagus ends trimmed
- Marinade
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 3 heaping tablespoons shallots minced
- 1 heaping teaspoon fresh garlic minced
- 1 1-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and minced
- 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
- Coarse sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a ceramic bowl, mix all ingredients for the marinade.
- Add the chicken drumettes and let them marinate for at least 5 hours in the refrigerator.
- Drain the chicken drumettes and discard the marinade.
- Cook the drumettes in the preheated Air Fryer at 370°F for 11 minutes.
- Turn over and cook for an additional 11 minutes.
- While the chicken is cooking, add the reserved marinade to a preheated skillet.
- Add the asparagus and cook for about 5 minutes or until cooked through.
- Serve the air-fried chicken with the sautéed asparagus and enjoy!
