Ingredients
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper preferably freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon celery seeds
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 chicken breasts cut into thirds
- 6 small-sized dinner rolls
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the flour, garlic salt, black pepper, celery seeds, mustard seeds, and dried basil.
- In a separate shallow bowl, beat the egg until frothy.
- Dredge each piece of chicken through the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten egg, and roll again in the flour mixture to coat evenly.
- Spritz the chicken pieces with cooking spray on all sides and transfer them to the air fryer basket.
- Cook in the preheated Air Fryer at 380°F for 15 minutes.
- Turn the chicken pieces over and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until fully cooked.
- Check for doneness and adjust the seasoning as desired.
- Serve immediately on dinner rolls and enjoy!
