Vermouth-Glazed Bacon Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vermouth
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 strips Canadian bacon sliced
- 1 pound ground turkey
- ½ shallot minced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 4 soft hamburger rolls
- 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 4 1-ounce slices Cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
Instructions
- Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees F.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vermouth and honey.
- Brush the Canadian bacon with this mixture.
- Place the bacon in the Air Fryer and cook for 3 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 3 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine the ground turkey, minced shallot, minced garlic, fish sauce, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Form into 4 burger patties.
- Reduce the Air Fryer temperature to 370 degrees F.
- Bake the patties for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Spread ketchup and mayonnaise on the hamburger rolls.
- Place each burger on a roll, topped with a slice of bacon, Cheddar cheese, and lettuce.
- Serve immediately.
