  • 2 tablespoons vermouth
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 strips Canadian bacon sliced
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • ½ shallot minced
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • Sea salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 4 soft hamburger rolls
  • 4 tablespoons tomato ketchup
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 1-ounce slices Cheddar cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Instructions

  • Preheat your Air Fryer to 400 degrees F.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vermouth and honey.
  • Brush the Canadian bacon with this mixture.
  • Place the bacon in the Air Fryer and cook for 3 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 3 minutes.
  • In another bowl, combine the ground turkey, minced shallot, minced garlic, fish sauce, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Form into 4 burger patties.
  • Reduce the Air Fryer temperature to 370 degrees F.
  • Bake the patties for 10 minutes, then flip and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Spread ketchup and mayonnaise on the hamburger rolls.
  • Place each burger on a roll, topped with a slice of bacon, Cheddar cheese, and lettuce.
  • Serve immediately.
