Warm Slaw
A variation on sweet and sour cabbage, warm slaw has a creamier dressing but a similar effect.
Ingrediënten
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 quart shredded cabbage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1½ cups water
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- ½ cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
Instructies
- Melt butter in saucepan and add cabbage.
- Stir thoroughly; then add salt and water.
- Cover and cook 10 minutes.
- In a bowl mix sugar, egg, flour, and milk.
- Add to the cabbage.
- Cook another minute.
- Add the vinegar and serve.
