Wholesome Whole Wheat Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 package of active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 cups rice milk or any other milk of your choice
- ¾ cup oil such as vegetable oil or melted coconut oil
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 6 cups whole wheat flour plus extra for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius).
- In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water.
- Let it sit for a few minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the dissolved yeast mixture, rice milk, oil, honey, baking soda, baking powder, and whole wheat flour.
- Mix well until a dough forms.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness.
- Using a biscuit cutter, cut out biscuits from the dough and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Gather the remaining dough, roll it out again, and cut out more biscuits until all the dough is used.
