Ingrediënten

  • Olive oil
  • 1 pound ground round beef
  • 1 cup diced green pepper
  • ½ cup diced celery
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic minced
  • ½ cup extra-large black olives chopped
  • 1 can 15 ounces kidney beans
  • 1 can 11 ounces stewed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 chili pepper minced
  • 2 tablespoons oregano vinegar
  • 1 cup water

Instructies

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add ground round beef and sauté until browned.
  • Drain and set aside.
  • In the same pot, sauté diced green pepper, diced celery, onion, and minced garlic until tender.
  • Add the browned beef back to the pot along with chopped black olives, kidney beans, stewed tomatoes, brown sugar, chili powder, cumin, minced chili pepper, and oregano vinegar.
  • Let the mixture simmer for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Then, add 1 cup of water and continue to simmer for another 15 minutes.
  • Adjust the amount of water according to your preferred consistency.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
