Equipment

Ingrediënten

  • ½ cup 72 g vital wheat gluten flour
  • 1 tablespoon 15 ml peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 2 tablespoons 16 g nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons 30 ml soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons 30 ml water

Instructies

  • In a medium-size bowl, combine the wheat gluten and nutritional yeast.
  • Stir in the maple syrup, soy sauce, liquid smoke, ketchup, oil, and water.
  • Use your fingertips to crumble the mixture.
  • Fry in a large-size saucepan over medium-high heat for 8 minutes, or until browned.
