- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- ½ cup tomato juice or water
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz. spaghetti noodles uncooked
Instructies
- In a Dutch oven, combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, water, chopped onion, minced garlic, mushrooms with liquid, nutmeg, and sugar.
- Bring the mixture to a boil on the stovetop.
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Cover the Dutch oven and transfer it to the oven.
- Allow the sauce to cook for 2 hours.

- Be cautious not to overcook; overcooked spaghetti can become too soft and sticky.
- Drain the spaghetti and place it on a deep platter.
