  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 serrano pepper sliced
  • 1 shallot sliced
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 2 pounds thin beef parboiled sausage

Instructies

  • Brush the Air Fryer cooking basket with 1 teaspoon of canola oil.
  • Add the sliced bell peppers, serrano pepper, and shallot to the basket.
  • Toss the vegetables with sea salt, black pepper, thyme, rosemary, mustard seeds, and fennel seeds.
  • Cook at 390°F (199°C) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket occasionally.
  • Reserve the pepper mixture.
  • Reduce the Air Fryer temperature to 380°F (193°C).
  • Add the remaining teaspoon of oil to the basket, then place the sausages in it.
  • Cook for 15 minutes, flipping the sausages halfway through the cooking time.
  • Serve the sausages with the reserved peperonata.
