Spicy Jalapeno-Swiss Turkey Burgers

- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
- 1 jalapeno pepper sliced
- 4 pretzel hamburger buns split and toasted

Instructies
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, finely chopped onion, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix lightly but thoroughly.
- Shape the mixture into four ½-inch-thick patties.
- Preheat the grill or broiler.
- Place the turkey burgers on an oiled grill rack or in a greased 15x10x1-inch pan.
- Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 inches from the heat source until a thermometer inserted into the center of the burgers reads 165°F, about 4-6 minutes per side.
- Top each burger with one slice of Swiss cheese, jalapeno slices, and another slice of Swiss cheese.
- Grill or broil for an additional 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
- Serve the turkey burgers on the toasted pretzel hamburger buns, topped with additional sliced jalapeno, salsa, and sour cream if desired.
