Sticky Sesame-Ginger Air Fryer Spareribs

- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon fermented black bean paste
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey
- 250 grams spareribs cut into small pieces
Instructies
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, fermented black bean paste, Shaoxing wine, dark soy sauce, and agave nectar (or honey) to make the marinade.
- Add the spareribs to the marinade and mix well to coat.
- Let the ribs marinate for up to 30 minutes to 4 hours.
- When ready to cook, preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- Remove the ribs from the marinade and place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry at 190°C (375°F) for 8 minutes.
- Check the internal temperature of the ribs with a meat thermometer to ensure they have reached 74°C (165°F) before serving.
