Ingrediënten

  • 1 lb. ground beef preferably lean
  • 1 1 1/4 oz. package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 4 oz. can taco sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese
  • 8 to 10 taco shells crushed

Instructies

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, taco seasoning mix, taco sauce, and egg.
  • Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  • Add the grated Cheddar cheese and crushed taco shells to the meat mixture.
  • Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a shallow baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and nicely browned on the outside.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve slices of the taco seasoned meatloaf with your favorite sides or toppings, such as extra taco sauce, salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
