Tandoori Chicken Panini

Ingrediënten

  • 1 and 1/3 lb. boneless and skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 6 chopped green onions
  • 2 tsp minced fresh ginger root
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 6 tbsp chutney
  • 6 naan flatbreads

Instructies

  • Add the chicken, garlic cloves, chicken broth, ginger root, salt, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne pepper in a slow cooker.
  • Cover the cooker, then cook for 3 hours until the ingredients become tender.
  • Shred the chicken, then add the onions.
  • Stir well to mix.
  • On one side of every naan, pour chutney.
  • Top it with the chicken mixture.
  • Cover the first naan with the remaining one.
  • Transfer the sandwiches to the panini maker.
  • Cook for 8 minutes until it becomes golden brown.
  • Divide the sandwich in half.
  • Serve and enjoy.
