Tandoori Chicken Panini
In India, Tandoori chicken is one of the best dishes. The recipe is about trying something new with a mix of Panini and chicken. It takes time to prepare this meal, but the outcome is satisfying. The blend of Indian spices will give you a feel of a short tour of India.
Ingrediënten
- 1 and 1/3 lb. boneless and skinless chicken breasts
- ¼ cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 6 chopped green onions
- 2 tsp minced fresh ginger root
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ¼ tsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp paprika
- 6 tbsp chutney
- 6 naan flatbreads
Instructies
- Add the chicken, garlic cloves, chicken broth, ginger root, salt, paprika, turmeric, and cayenne pepper in a slow cooker.
- Cover the cooker, then cook for 3 hours until the ingredients become tender.
- Shred the chicken, then add the onions.
- Stir well to mix.
- On one side of every naan, pour chutney.
- Top it with the chicken mixture.
- Cover the first naan with the remaining one.
- Transfer the sandwiches to the panini maker.
- Cook for 8 minutes until it becomes golden brown.
- Divide the sandwich in half.
- Serve and enjoy.
